We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. Your data stays private and is never shared with third parties.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Just Tell SAM (also referred to as "SAM-PA" or "SAM"). Please read this policy carefully. By using Just Tell SAM, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you use SAM-PA, we may collect:

• WhatsApp Account Information: Your phone number and WhatsApp profile name
• Messages and Content: Text messages, voice notes, images, and documents you send to SAM-PA
• Tasks and Reminders: Information about tasks, reminders, ideas, and lists you create
• Calendar Data: Events and scheduling information if you connect your Google Calendar (see Section 6 for detailed Google Calendar disclosures)
• Preferences: Your language preferences, timezone, and notification settings

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect:

• Usage data and interaction patterns with SAM-PA
• Message timestamps and frequency of use
• Device type and operating system (as provided by WhatsApp)
• Error logs and service performance data

2.3 Voice Notes and Audio

When you send voice notes, we process and transcribe them to extract tasks, reminders, and information. We support multiple languages including English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Voice notes are processed securely and transcriptions are stored as part of your account data.

6. Google Calendar Integration

SAM-PA offers an optional Google Calendar integration that allows you to manage your calendar events directly through WhatsApp. This section describes how we handle your Google Calendar data in compliance with Google's API Services User Data Policy.

6.1 Google User Data We Access

When you connect your Google Calendar to SAM-PA, we request access to the following data through the Google Calendar API (scope: calendar.events):

• Event Titles: The names/subjects of your calendar events
• Event Dates and Times: Start and end dates/times, including timezone information
• Event Descriptions: Any descriptions or notes attached to events
• Attendees: Names and email addresses of event participants
• Event Locations: Physical or virtual meeting locations
• Event Status: Whether events are confirmed, tentative, or cancelled

6.2 How We Use Your Google Calendar Data

Your Google Calendar data is used exclusively to provide calendar-related features you request via WhatsApp, including:

• Creating Events: Adding new events to your calendar when you ask SAM-PA to schedule something
• Reading Events: Retrieving your upcoming events so you can view your schedule via WhatsApp
• Google Meet Links: Creating a calendar event with a Google Meet link when you request one
• Availability Checks: Checking whether calendar events conflict with a time you ask about
• Daily Summaries: Providing you with a summary of your day's events when requested
• Reminders: Sending WhatsApp reminders about upcoming events if you enable this feature

We do not use your Google Calendar data for advertising, market research, or any purpose unrelated to providing and improving the SAM-PA calendar features. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6.3 How We Store Your Google Calendar Data

• OAuth Tokens: Your Google OAuth2 refresh and access tokens are stored in our encrypted database (AES-256 encryption at rest) and are used solely to maintain your calendar connection
• Event Data: Calendar event data is primarily processed in real-time when you make requests. We do not maintain a persistent copy of your full calendar
• Cached Data: Minimal event data (e.g., upcoming events for daily summaries) may be temporarily cached to improve response times and is automatically purged

6.4 Third-Party Sharing of Google Calendar Data

We do not share, sell, lease, or transfer your Google Calendar data to any third parties. Your calendar data is only transmitted between Google's servers and SAM-PA's servers to fulfill your requests. No human at SAM-PA accesses your calendar data unless you explicitly request support and grant permission.

6.5 Revoking Google Calendar Access

You can disconnect your Google Calendar from SAM-PA at any time using any of the following methods:

• Via WhatsApp: Send the message "disconnect calendar" to SAM-PA, and your Google Calendar connection will be immediately removed
• Via Google Account Settings: Go to Google Account Permissions and revoke SAM-PA's access
• Via Email: Contact us at [email protected] to request disconnection

Upon disconnection, we will delete your stored OAuth tokens and any cached calendar data within 24 hours. This will not affect any events already created in your Google Calendar.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information
• For Group Features: When you use collaborative features with other users
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
• Service Providers: With vendors who help us operate our service

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

SAM-PA IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SAM-PA is an assistive productivity tool and should not be relied upon as the sole means for time-sensitive, critical, or safety-related actions. Features such as reminders, alarms, notifications, and scheduled messages depend on third-party services (including WhatsApp, internet connectivity, and device settings) that are outside our control. We do not guarantee the delivery, accuracy, or timeliness of any reminder, alarm, or notification.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ULTRAGAMES ENTERTAINMENT PVT. LTD., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE SAM-PA.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO SAM-PA SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SUBSCRIPTION FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. FOR FREE-TIER USERS, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (₹100).

By using SAM-PA, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this limitation and agree that it is a reasonable allocation of risk. For full terms governing your use of SAM-PA, please refer to our Terms of Service.
